Purpose

The Growing in STEM mini-grants are awarded to South Carolina educators creating science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) focused projects for their classroom or school. Mini-grants support collaboration among teachers, students, and the community and allow students to explore real-world applications of STEM concepts. Mini-grants are a small amount of funding and are designed for ease of use by teacher applicants. The maximum mini-grant award is $2,500.

South Carolina PreK-12 educators in public and private schools or in out-of-school learning settings, with a great idea for a STEM project that can be completed in one academic year.
