Overview

Educators, as part of SC STEM Education Month (March 14, 2022 – April 11, 2022), you can host a fun science event for your students and their families. Now is the time to apply to receive a free kit that includes hands-on activities, a planning guide, activity instructions, materials for up to 200 participants, and planning guidance with South Carolina's Coalition for Mathematics & Science (SCCMS) staff.

The Duke Energy Foundation sponsorship funds a limited number of kits to award at no charge. These are awarded to schools using an application process that includes a review of school need, demographics, and geography. Kits are available to elementary schools located in the Duke Energy service areas. See the map below.
If you have questions, please contact Tracey Campbell, SCCMS Director of Special Projects by email or phone (843-274-4087).
